Join us at the North Carolina State Univeristy on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, for a free workshop on:
Advanced Applications of Infrared & Raman Spectroscopy
Presenter: Sergey Shilov, Ph.D., Senior Application Scientist
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED)
You will learn how to:
- Optimize FTIR spectrometer settings to get optimal results
- Identify proteins secondary structure, study proteins stability under stress test, investigate proteins denature
- Perform chemical image of your sampe, identify defects and contaminants using IR and Raman microspectroscopy
Examples of applications will include QC of vaccines, determination of proteins melting point, biological tissue imaging, forensic analysis, multilayer polymer films and reverse engineering.
Bring your samples for the Hands-On session!
LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED
Location: North Carolina State University, Tallen Student Union Room 3222
